High-density cartridge heaters are used for heating solids that require relatively high power and offer very limited physical space, for instance in moulds. Also used in sealer jaws, medical equipment and packaging machines. 

High-density cartridge heaters are designed for 230V with a lead-in of 250 mm. The pipe cap is ground with an H7 fitting.

They are available in a wide range of services and materials tailored for each individual task.

Mica is an electronic insulator widely used for indirect heating of mangles, tools and attached under tubs, etc.

For contact heating it is essential that proper contact is established between the heater and the solid, for instance using fixing clamps or straps. Poor contact will result in a shortened lifetime and perhaps even overcuring.

Bead heating elements are used for heating tools.

A bead heating element consists of ceramic beads through which a heating spiral has been inserted.
Due to its flexible design (small movable beads), the construction is quite suitable for placement in tools where the heat often needs to be inserted between holes and milled slots.

Please note that in tools with major vibrations or pulses, the lifetime of bead heating elements may be brief. High-density cartridge heaters are often a good alternative.

Silicone cables are used for casting moulds, tracing of tubes or containers as well as for various other tasks. The max. ambient temperature allowed for the cable is 180ºC and the min. ambient temperature is -70ºC. Max. power is 40W/m.

The cable may not be touched by oil and animal fats.

Silicone cables are available in any requested length and can thus be easily customized for each task. The min. bend diameter is 15 mm. Voltage, power, cable length and lead-in length can be made to order.
