Explosion-proof finned tube air heaters of the ERB type are used for heating in areas where gases or vapors are present, for instance chemical and petrochemical manufacturing, and in areas where flammable and/or combustible products are stored.
The finned tube air heaters have a flameproof construction with a maximum surface temperature of 200ºC. This means that the ovens qualify for temperature class T3 and have been ATEX-approved with the following certification: Ex d IIC T3.
By reducing the power, a flameproof construction is achieved with a maximum surface temperature of 135ºC. This means that the ovens qualify for temperature class T4 and have been ATEX-approved with the following certification: Ex d IIC T4.
