Ceramic Heating Element

Round ceramic heating elements

Primarily used for heating water, liquids and oil products. They are primarily installed in tanks and containers in which the heating element is placed inside a tube to allow replacement of the heating element without having to empty the tank or container. When using pouring tubes, a larger surface is achieved for better heat distribution, which enables high power to be installed in the container with a ceramic heating element.

Round ceramic heating elements are built from groove blocks (ceramic building blocks). Regardless of the diameter, the are available in a min. length of 50 mm. The groove blocks are combined to complete heating elements with the heat conductor placed in the groove passages. At the largest diameters they can be combined to lengths of up to 10 metres.

They can be mounted in tubes - read more under cartridge heating elements.

Flat ceramic heating elements

Used for heating of tub bottoms and sides, etc. They are also well-suited for building minor annealing and temering furnaces or for installation in cartridges with suspension screws or clamps. Flat ceramic heating elements are made of heat-resistant conductors and ceramic parts that support the resistive conductor.

Flat ceramic heating elements are made of groove blocks (ceramic building blocks). The groove blocks are combined to complete heating elements with the heat conductor placed in the groove passages.
